40 years in Ketchikan
Delise Olmstead started cleaning buildings in Ketchikan in 1986 and has run the business ever since. She incorporated it as Olmstead Maintenance, LLC in 2002.
Four decades in a town of eight thousand people means the work speaks for itself or it does not continue. There is no second chance at a reputation here and no anonymity to hide a bad job behind. Every building we clean belongs to somebody we are going to run into at the store.

Woman-owned
Olmstead Maintenance, LLC is a woman-owned business and has been from the first day. In 1986 that was unusual in this trade in Southeast Alaska. Delise built the business anyway, one building at a time, and it is still hers.
The company is registered as a woman-owned small business in the federal SAM system.
Local, and staying that way
We are not a franchise and not a branch office. There is no regional manager in another state setting the schedule.
Being local is not sentiment — it is operational. Our crews live in Ketchikan, so weather does not strand them, and a Saturday emergency gets answered.
